About This Place

Located in the heart of Petaluma, Pinky's Pizza Parlor is a delightful throwback to the golden age of pizza parlors, serving up classic, comforting flavors in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. This beloved pizza restaurant has carved out a special place in the community with its inviting pink-painted building that instantly sparks joy and nostalgia the moment you arrive.

Pinky's Pizza Parlor specializes in hearty, old-school American-style pizza, perfectly crafted to satisfy both kids and adults alike. Their signature Bud's Special Pizza and the ever-popular Combo Pizza—available in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes—are loaded with salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, ground beef, and sausage, with customizable options like anchovies, onions, or bell peppers. You can almost taste the rich, savory blend of toppings mingling with gooey, melted cheese and a perfectly golden crust. For those craving unique flavor adventures, the pizza with black olives and pineapple paired with cold tomato offers a refreshing surprise that balances sweet, tangy, and salty notes beautifully.

A standout menu addition, Pinky's Special Salad, is a vibrant medley of fresh lettuce, earthy beets, crunchy croutons, and hearty garbanzo and kidney beans, offering a welcome crisp contrast to the warmth of their pizzas. The garlic bread with cheese is another must-try—aromatic and buttery with a gooey, cheesy topping that melts in your mouth, making it the perfect shareable starter or a savory side. Other delights like the medium sausage pizza and hearty quesadilla ensure there’s something to delight every pizza lover’s palate.

The atmosphere is warm, casual, and incredibly fun, making it ideal for family dinners, birthday celebrations, and end-of-season little league parties. As Carl Clark notes, Pinky’s is a rare gem for those seeking that authentic, old-school vibe where kids can have fun and adults can enjoy a relaxing meal. Chet Wood’s glowing review highlights not only the consistently delicious pizza but also the welcoming environment where grandkids can enjoy the arcade and even ride the pig, blending good food with memorable family experiences.

Service here is friendly and attentive, as Kim O’Brien experienced with her large birthday party, where every slice and every guest was well taken care of. The location’s accessibility adds yet another layer of convenience, as noted by Nancy Hayssen, making Pinky’s a perfect stop when passing through Petaluma.

For those familiar with the brand, Lori White’s comparison between the Petaluma and Walnut Creek locations underscores Pinky’s consistency in delivering outstanding pizza and a charming, playful atmosphere no matter which parlor you visit.

In all, Pinky’s Pizza Parlor is not just a place to eat; it’s a vibrant community hub where each visit evokes a genuine sense of comfort and joy. Whether you’re indulging in a savory slice, sharing a salad, or celebrating with loved ones amidst laughter and arcade fun, Pinky’s leaves you with full bellies and warm memories.

Not many old school pizza places left. Great spot to sit down and have a pizza. Great for kids birthday parties and little league season enders.

A unique old school pizza restaurant. Great pizza and garlic bread. It's easy to get to when driving in or out of Petaluma. 5-star also for their fun building painted all in pink! So fun!

It was my first time in Petaluma and happened to run across this place. I had to go there. We have a Pinky's in Walnut Creek and I love it. Comparing the 2..... Both are outstanding. I love the decor. This is the one in Petaluma

Updating review! Petaluma's first pizza parlor, the Legendary Pinky's Pizza (established in 1962!) is a great place to watch sports, drink great beer and eat great pizza! It is great for family events, we have had many birthday parties here. As well as a place to host a team dinner. Just make sure to call ahead and make a reservation! There is an arcade in back that gets updated occasionally, and wonderful memorabilia on the walls around the place. You wouldn't expect a Pizza parlor to have such a great variety of beer on tap, but they do! From local breweries (HenHouse, Cooperage, Bear Republic) to domestic beers that are hard to find (They have Oly!)

Pinky's Pizza in Petaluma holds a special place in our hearts. Our recent visit reaffirmed its status as a cherished spot. The pepperoni pizza was a classic delight, oozing with flavor. The sausage, pepperoni, black olive, and mushroom pizza showcased their creative touch. The generous wine pours added to the experience, elevating the meal. Beyond the food, Pinky's thoughtful consideration for families was evident with the arcade—keeping kids engaged while we enjoyed our feast. A historic site in Petaluma, Pinky's Pizza blends nostalgia with culinary excellence. As one of our all-time favorite pizza joints, it consistently impresses. The warm atmosphere and friendly staff make every visit memorable. Pinky's Pizza remains more than just a dining spot; it's a tradition for us. From the scrumptious pies to the family-friendly vibe, it's a slice of happiness in the heart of Petaluma. Here's to many more pizza-filled memories at Pinky's!
